About Wayne
Wayne Powers writes across genres the way some people change rooms — easily, and because the story asked him to. Cozy mysteries, thrillers, paranormal puzzles, and dark fantasy all share a shelf and a sensibility.
He studied under William Price Fox and James Dickey, came up as a painter, and still works a chair as a hairdresser in Columbia, South Carolina. The voice on the page is the one you'd get across the table: warm, Southern, unhurried, and honest about the dark parts.
